On New Year’s Day 2023, Cosmore Suttle went under the knife not once but twice. Doctors Arman Kilic and Joe Scalea performed a rare combination of heart and kidney transplants at MUSC. Cosmore’s heart came from a donor who died a circulatory death or DCD.
