May 3rd- Today marks 23 years since my Heart Transplant! I’m a very lucky man.

If you do want to join the Organ Donor register, you could save someone’s like, and hopefully they wouldn’t be as annoying as myself! 😉

With my “Heartiversary’ today, I thought it relevant to share a photo from a few years ago too.

This was a World Record Attempt-
‘The Highest Collective Number of Transplant People in one place at the same time.’
Sadly after verification, we unfortunately, did not break the World Record. The record was held by a North Carolina Ward with a total of 189 people, and we were 5 short of breaking the record with 185, although 200+ did register.
On the plus side however, we raised a huge amount of awareness, and the people coming to fundraise were in abundance. Not to mention the huge attention we gained from the press/media.
If it is any consolation, we are record holders for the largest gathering in Europe. So there is something to be proud of.
