Leap Day officially marks the day my dad received a donated kidney! Technically this is only his 3 year anniversary, but he has had his kidney for 12 years now. So very thankful that someone chose organ donation upon their death and was a full match to my dad. He had been on dialisys for 6 years and had two failed kidney matches before he finally received the right one. We know he has been very fortunate to live with it this long and hope he can live another 12 years with this kidney. #donatelife #kidneytransplant #organdonor #family
