Today, we honor 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗱-𝗮𝗻𝗴, a dedicated nephrologist and a steadfast advocate for 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼. As head of the Southern Philippines Medical Center’s transplant and organ donation efforts, Dr. Bad-ang has worked tirelessly to expand access to life-saving kidney transplant services closer to patients here in the South, strengthen organ donation campaigns, and emphasize ethical, patient-centered care. Her leadership continues to turn hope into healing and foster a culture where organ donation is recognized as a generous gift of life.
