This Thanksgiving weekend, my heart is overflowing with gratitude — not just for what I have, but for the people and moments that change our lives in unexpected ways. 🧡

A few months ago, I came across a Facebook post about a man named Chad who urgently needed a kidney donor. Something about his story touched my heart. After many conversations with my husband, Scott, I decided to get tested — and by some incredible twist of fate, I was a match.

This past Thursday, we had our surgeries. Chad is healing, I’m healing, and the kidney is doing exactly what it should. ❤️ Seeing him get a second chance at life has been one of the most humbling experiences of my life.

Huge love to his amazing partner, Larissa, whose strength and devotion through this journey have been truly inspiring. 💚

And to my husband — my hero. Eighteen years ago, he donated one of his kidneys to our son. His selflessness and courage continue to inspire me every single day. My dad was also a kidney donor to my brother back in 1978, so this truly runs deep in our family.

Thank you, Chad and Larissa, for letting me be part of your story. It will forever be one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.
