This is a post from the Onelegacy Donate Life Rose Parade Float page -This morning at the Rose Parade Float Judging the Band Directors Marching band performed together for the Tournament of Roses judges.

When they finished, they came to the OneLegacy Donate Life float and asked to play for our honorees. One band member had a special connection. He had lost his 8-year-old daughter, who became an organ donor.

As they performed “Amazing Grace,” to a room full of donor families and organ recipients it became a moment none of us will ever forget — a powerful reminder of the enduring impact of organ, eye and tissue donation and the lives honored through this float.
