This Christmas just hits different. ❤️
For the first time in two years, I’m home for Christmas with my kids and my husband.
2025 was the aboslute hardest year of my life. There were moments when I wasn’t sure I’d be here to see another holiday, let alone wake up in my own home, hear my kids giggle with excitement, and snuggle up on the couch while the house fills with Christmas noise and chaos.
This season isn’t about perfect decorations or presents under the tree. It’s about breath in my lungs, making memories, and the greatest gift of all; being alive. And not just surviving, but thriving.

I fought hard and worked my butt off to get where I am today and it couldn’t have been more worth it. I couldn’t do any of it without my amazing transplant team, as well as all the nurses and other hospital staff who helped me get through the hardest time of my life. And of course, not without my donor, a stranger who gave me the gift of life, and to their family who I know misses them dearly. ❤️
Watching my kids grow up and growing old with the love of my life will forever be the greatest gift I could ever hope for.

Merry Christmas from our little family to yours. 🎄🎅⛄️🎁

Also… If you’re reading this and going through difficult times, please know that hope can still find you. I’m living proof that anything is possible, even when you think you’ve reached your breaking point. Just don’t give up. You are worth the fight. ❤️🫶🏻💚
