So 2025 was all about the eyes, as the ability to see is the most precious gift of life!
A major part of my life has been spent quite routinely: studying, chasing dreams and ambitions, building a career, and managing work while raising my daughter. Over the past few years, on a personal note I have been trying to do things a little differently, making sure I choose tasks that are doable so I can truly accomplish them. Whether it’s learning a new skill, pursuing my hobbies, taking on new challenges to make some bold decisions. So far these have been simple little things such as getting tattoos, starting gym, taking an inner engineering course, learning guitar etc. But this year I chose something meaningful.
While working on ophthalmic innovations in our company, in 2025 I took a pledge to donate my eyes. If, someday, my eyes can help even one person see this beautiful world, I would consider my life truly worthwhile. I am so grateful to my family for respecting my decision.

I give myself this month of January, my birthday month, to think and decide and I really find it thrilling what new I should do this year.
So this year plan is to take pledge for organ donation on “World Organ Donation Day” hoping it does not remain just a pledge.
