On December 7th I celebrated 7 years post-transplant, which (I guess) makes this my “Golden” Anniversary!!

@fitcampatx once again enlisted our talented friend and pastry artist @quebuenobakery to create a beautiful (and delicious!!!) cake to mark the occasion. Roulette-theme was very appropriate since we just went to #lasvegas – but even more so since my ability to be here 7 years later truly does feel like I won the lottery.

Endless thanks to the amazing doctors, nurses, lab techs, and everyone else who worked tirelessly to give me all this extra time to spend with my friends and family. Seven years feels both long and too short, but I cherish all of the days I’ve been given and hope to have a few more left 😉
