In Lord of the Flies, David McKenna’s performance as Piggy captured our hearts. But behind the scenes, David was living a much bigger story.

Thanks to the incredible “gift of life” from both his mum and dad, who each donated a kidney, David wasn’t sidelined by illness. Because of organ donation, he was able to live, thrive, and pursue his passion for acting.
