It’s taken me a little while to find the words for this post..

In August, after just four days of being on the transplant waiting list, I had my second pancreas transplant. It’s been a tough journey, much harder than I ever expected and with complications I never imagined facing. I genuinely didn’t think anything could be more challenging than my first transplan in September 2024, but I was wrong.

But here’s the part I’m so grateful to share, I’m finally recovering really well and feeling stronger every single day.

It hasn’t been easy, and there have been moments that tested me (and those closest to me) more than I knew was possible. But I’m still here, still healing, and so incredibly thankful for the support, care, and love I’ve had around me.

Here’s to new beginnings, better days ahead, and a future that feels brighter than ever- and hopefully NO MORE SURGERY✨
