Heart Month ❤️
Amelia had her heart transplant in 2002 at GOSH due to restrictive cardiomyopathy.
“I missed my entire GCSE year before getting back to health and living life to the full. Over the years I’ve let my eating and fitness slack but wanted to get back to looking after my heart, only I’ve never liked exercise! I found Barbelle Gym last year and was sure I would quit after the trial, but I’m actually still enjoying it! I just follow the programme so don’t have to think too much and the coaches ensure we’re lifting right. It has made me so much fitter already and my cardio has improved. A great way to celebrate heart month!”
