Happy Tuesday!! Are YOU registered as an organ donor?

Being an organ donor means that you have consented to donate your organs, tissues, and sometimes even whole body upon your death for the purpose of transplantation to save or improve the lives of others. It’s a selfless act of generosity that can have a profound impact on someone in need of a life-saving transplant.

My love one recently underwent a kidney transplant, a life-changing event prompted by severe kidney failure. The thought of spending the remainder of their days tethered to dialysis was slowly deteriorating their health. I am so grateful for the selfless individuals who choose to become organ donors, offering hope and a chance at life to others. While my loved one embarks on the journey of recovery, they are already experiencing the blessings of improved health and vitality, thanks to the generous act of another.

Tonight on the You’re Our Unity Show “Society, Culture and YOU” Segment, we have the privilege of speaking with Ms. Stacy Connell, a dedicated human service professional. Stacy passionately works with families, advocating for organ donation and providing vital education on its life-saving impact. Her mission is to dispel misconceptions and myths surrounding organ donation, ultimately empowering individuals to make the life-affirming decision to donate and granting those in need the precious gift of continued life.

Please join our conversation and be inspired to become a Life Saver!
