📰 Cricket Meets Compassion: ‘Donate Organs, Save Lives’ Initiative to Launch During 3rd ODI 🏏❤️
In a powerful move to combine the spirit of sports with a life-saving cause, the ‘Donate Organs, Save Lives’ awareness initiative will be launched during the third and final ODI between India and England at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, on February 12.
Announced by ICC Chairman Jay Shah, this initiative aims to inspire millions of cricket fans to pledge towards organ donation, emphasizing that “one pledge can save multiple lives.”
“Sport has the power to inspire, unite, and create a lasting impact beyond the field. Through this initiative, we urge everyone to take a step towards giving the greatest gift of all – the gift of life,” said Jay Shah in his post on X.
While Team India leads the series 2-0 with stunning performances from Rohit Sharma (119), Ravindra Jadeja (3 wickets), and consistent knocks from Shubman Gill (60), the real victory lies in the hearts that will beat because of organ donors.
Let’s cheer for India on the field and support this noble cause off the field. Your pledge can be someone’s lifeline. ❤️
