💙 Celebrating Health on the High Street in Aylesbury 💙

Recently I had the pleasure of visiting Health on the High Street in Friars Square Shopping Centre — an incredible NHS space that brings health and wellbeing support right into the heart of town.

It was wonderful to meet the dedicated team from Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, who are working hard to make it easier for people to access advice, checks and support in a friendly, welcoming setting.

During my visit, the team and volunteers were busy raising awareness about organ donation, chatting with shoppers and encouraging people to sign up. It was fantastic to see so many stopping by to learn more about this lifesaving cause.

Health on the High Street is a brilliant example of how bringing services closer to people can make a real difference — offering everything from child health advice to wellbeing support and health checks, all under one roof.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for your enthusiasm, compassion and commitment to our community. You’re helping make healthcare more accessible and approachable for everyone in Aylesbury. 👏
