After 33 long days, 17-year-old 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 — and celebrating the greatest gift of all: life. 💚

A competitive swimmer at North Tonawanda High School, Meredith was breaking records just weeks before her body suddenly went into liver failure. What began as exhaustion quickly became a fight for survival, landing her on the most urgent transplant list. Less than a week later, a donor’s selfless gift gave Meredith the second chance she desperately needed.

Now home for the holidays, Meredith is recovering, reflecting, and filled with gratitude — for the medical teams who cared for her, for the community that sent hundreds of cards from around the world, and most of all, for the donor family who said “yes” in their moment of loss.
