A year difference, and wow, what a year it has been!
My life was so different in the photo on the left.
I was still waiting to get listed. We really hoped that by Christmas I would have been on the list but that didn’t happen until February 😥.
I could barely eat food, just apple sauce or yogurt to take pills, so I wouldn’t throw up but I ended up throwing up every single day, multiple times. I could barely move around without being short of breath. I basically lived in bed or sitting on the couch.

This year, I was able to do lots of cooking and EATING! I’m able to move around freely, no tether to oxygen, no breathlessness, and we were able to go out for a walk at the local state park. It’s been unseasonably warm, so I was able to wear shorts on Christmas Day.

I can’t even tell you how grateful I am to be here and to be with family and friends for Christmas. 🤗

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday and were able to enjoy good food! ❤️💚😊 Thank you to everyone for your constant love and support, for being here following my journey through life with transplant! 💖
